Japanese Language & Culture Course (Intermediate Class is now open!)
First Semester [July, 2017 to November, 2017]
The JF KOZA is a Japanese language course that uses very distinctive form of teaching material – “MARUGOTO” which conforms to the Japanese language education method “JF Standard” developed by The Japan Foundation. Our teaching methodology is quite different and particular, which is suitable for Indian students seeking to learn Japanese however, in case you do not find anything productive, you can discontinue the classes. Moreover, The Japan foundation, New Delhi does not charges any tuition fee for teaching because conducting such language class’s purpose is to brush up the Japanese Language teacher’s teaching ability and not to earn profits. Please note that this course DO NOT conduct JLPT Preparation.

Class 6 [A2-1 – Elementary Conversation, Grammar and Script- Lesson 11-18] :
   a. Eligibility: Students who have completed A1 grammar & script or have good knowledge of HIRAGANA,
                        KATAKANA, about 50 KANJI, and can handle basic conversations.
   b. Textbook- “Marugoto A2-1 -Japanese Language and Culture [Activity]“
                        “Marugoto A2-1 -Japanese Language and Culture [Grammar & Script]”
   c. Fee- Administration Fee INR 600 /Textbook Fee INR 1,200
   d. Class time- Monday & Thursday 15:15 to 17:15
   e. Seats- 5

Class 7 [A2-2 – Elementary Conversation, Grammar and Script- Lesson 1-10] :
   a. Eligibility: Students who have completed A2-1 or have a good knowledge of script (about 200 KANJI), can
                       handle simple conversation and has an understanding of the basic grammar patterns.
   b. Textbook- “Marugoto A2-2 -Japanese Language and Culture [Activity]“
                        “Marugoto A2-2 -Japanese Language and Culture [Grammar & Script]”
   c. Fee- Administration Fee INR 600 /Textbook Fee INR 1,200
   d. Class time-Tuesday & Friday 15:15 to 17:15
   e. Seats- 8

Class 8 [A2-2 – Elementary Conversation, Grammar and Script- Lesson 11-18] :
   a. Eligibility: Students who have completed A2-1 or have a good knowledge of script (about 250 KANJI), can 
                        handle simple conversation and has an understanding of the basic grammar patterns.
   b. Textbook- “Marugoto A2-2 -Japanese Language and Culture [Activity]“
                        “Marugoto A2-2 -Japanese Language and Culture [Grammar & Script]”
   c. Fee- Administration Fee INR 600 /Textbook Fee INR 1,200
   d. Class time-Monday & Friday 13:00 to 15:00
   e. Seats- 5

Class 9 [A2/B1 – Pre-Intermediate Conversation, Grammar and Script- Lesson 1-10] :
   a. Eligibility: Students who have completed A2-2 or knows about 350 KANJI, can handle descriptive
                        conversations about daily life activities, and has good knowledge of basic grammar patterns.
   b. Textbook- “Marugoto A2-B1 -Japanese Language and Culture”
   c.  Fee- Administration Fee INR 600 /Textbook Fee INR 600
   d. Class time-Tuesday & Friday 10:30 to 12:30
   e. Seats- 5

Application Process and Course Fee Payment
1.  Download the Application Form from the website or obtain it from the JF reception (GF). 
2.  Please fill up the Application Form and submit it to the JF reception on Jun 7-8 from 10:30 to 16:30.
     *We DO NOT accept submission of forms via mail.
     *Form Submission has to be done IN PERSON by the candidate himself/herself.
     *Make sure you write the correct phone number and Email address in the form. The Japan Foundation may
      use these to communicate with you.
     *It is mandatory to attach a Passport size photograph on the form. (It must be taken in 6 months)
3. After receiving Application Form, an Acknowledgement Slip will be given to each candidate. DO NOT LOSE
    THIS SLIP AT ANY COST. ONCE LOST,YOUR APPLICATION IS CANCELLED ON THE SPOT.
4. The Acknowledgement Slip will contain a specific Form Number. The candidate will use this number as a
     reference to check results on the website (http://www.jfindia.org.in/) and The Japan Foundation Notice Board
     at the Reception (Ground Floor). There will be no phone calls or mails from The Japan Foundation.
5. The first screening result will be announced over the website and Notice Board on Jun 9, 2017 after 4.00 p.m.
6. If your Form No. is on the list, you will have to come to The Japan Foundation for Personal Interview in the
    time slot given to you on the result list. The interviews will be conducted on June 13 – 14, 2017.
    Bring 1 passport size photograph, ID and Address Proof along with you.
    *Please note that no interview will be conducted. if you fail to come or are late for the interview.
7. If you fail to come or are late for the interview, no interview will be conducted. The interview result will be out
    on the website and the notice board on June 15, 2017 after 4.00 p.m. The candidates will have to come for 
    the fee payment on the designated dates – From June 16 to June 17 at 12 pm, 2017.
     *The registration of those who failed to pay the fee by the designated day will be cancelled.
     *No calls/queries regarding the result or application status will be entertained.
     *The decision of The Japan Foundation is final.
