The Japan Foundation, in collaboration with Chitrakatha ‘13 and The Animation Society of India (TASI) proudly presents the talk “Prof Ito’s world of Stop Motion!”

In this event, Professor Yuichi Ito, one of the top animation directors in Japan, and authority of puppet animation will talk about his work in clay animation.

 Prof Ito is a member of the board of directors of the Japan Animation Association.

He is a Professor in the department of animation at Tokyo National University of Arts graduate school & guest professor at Osaka University of Arts.
In 1998, he established and became the president of I.TOON Ltd. For his animations, he uses various techniques focusing on clay animation and directs TV animation programs, commercials and music videos. Ito is one of the top animation directors in Japan, and authority of puppet animation that keeps challenging possibility of expression.
