Short Synopsis –
Based on the story written by the renowned author, Ryunosuke Akutagawa; this film starts off as a simple murder mystery when a samurai  is found murdered in the woods. However, as the story starts to unfold, numerous versions of the incident keeps coming out from the different parties involved and leaves one wondering, what is the truth? A truly original film that has since, spawned many homages and inspired many generations of film makers.
