Short Synopsis –
The story revolves around Shigeru who is a deaf and mute garbage collector. One day, he finds a broken surfboard and decideds to learn how to surf, despite the ridicule of others around him. The owner of the local surf shop is impressed by his seriousness and encourages him to enter a surfing contest. He enters the contest, but chckens out at the last minute. After practising more, he enters another contest, competes, and wins a trophy. One day, back at the deserted beach, Shigeru’s adoring girlfriend, who is also deaf and mute plls his surfboard out the surf. Will it be a tragedy waiting to happen?
