a. Grant Program for Cultural Presentation Abroad
This program provides partial financial assistance for the overseas dispatch of specialists in Japanese culture to carry out lectures and cultural demonstrations with intention to deepen awareness and understanding of Japan in abroad.
b. Grant Program for Cultural Cooperation
This program promotes cultural diversity and strengthens the base of cultural environment in the world. Its aim is to support projects that preserve world cultural heritage and that help foster human resources in such fields as contemporary culture, the arts, and sports.
2. Visual Arts Exchange
a.
Exhibitions Abroad Support Program
This program is designed to provide financial assistance to exhibitions introducing Japanese art and culture to audiences overseas.
b. Support Program for Visual Arts Exchange Related to Exhibitions in Japan
This program is designed to provide financial assistance to exhibitions of superior art and culture from various foreign countries that have limited opportunity of being shown in Japan, with priority given to: symposia, workshops, artist-in-residence.
3. Audio Visual and Publication Exchange

Support Program for Translation and Publication on Japan
To promote Japanese Studies and a better understanding of Japan abroad, this program provides support to projects relating to translating and/or publishing Japanese works on Humanities, Social Sciences and the Arts, and publishing books introducing Japanese culture written in foreign languages
b.
Support Program for Film and TV Program Production inn Japan
This program provides assistance for the production of films, TV programs,and other audio-visual materials
