Regular Class

The regular course offers you an opportunity to develop your communicative skills in the Japanese language.  This is achieved through class interaction and active participation in tasks using Japanese.  The course also focuses on exploring various aspects of Japanese culture and society as part of class activity.

<Classes>
1. “Introductory Conversation (A1C)”
This class is designed for beginners, and is focused on speaking and listening.  After completion, you will be able to handle short social exchanges on topics from everyday life.

2. “Introductory Script and Grammar (A1S)”
This class is ideal for learners who have completed Introductory Conversation (A1C) or have an equivalent proficiency level.  After completion of this class, you will be able to read and write short sentences on topics from everyday life.

3. “Elementary Conversation and Grammar (A2-1)”
This class is for learners who have completed Introductory Script and Grammar (A1S) or have an equivalent proficiency level. It aims at enhancing your communication skills and developing grammatical knowledge and vocabulary.

 * Classes above A2-1 level will be also be organised at a later date
 

Number of lessons
Once a week class: 16 lessons
Twice a week class:   32 lessons
(each lesson for 2 hours )

Number of participants: 5-15
Textbook fee applies
Eligibility:  Those who are 18 years of age or above
                Those who can attend all the lessons during the semester

Certificates will be issued for participants who clear the necessary attendance rate as well as pass the final test.
