I participated in Long term teachers training program for Japanese Language teachers outside Japan, conducted by the Japan Foundation, Urawa, Tokyo, Japan. First of all I would like to thank The Japan Foundation for giving me this opportunity to learn about Japanese Language and Japan. I would like to thank all the teachers and staff of Urawa center of The Japan Foundation for their support and guidance at every step. Participating in the program made me learn a lot many things about Japanese Language teaching and culture of rich Japan in particular. We came to learn about many ways of teaching Japanese in a simple and effective way. Learned to make teaching plan and follow the class according to our teaching plan. And it is the one of the best way to teach Japanese language to a foreign student. We experienced Japan while being in Japan. The rich culture and tradition of Japan is of no match. During the training program we lived every moment in Japan learning about Japanese only. Participated in all the programs attended every class. Got time to learn Japanese Archery, and many other things too. Whether it was language, culture, tradition or places to visit. It was the best training program I ever had. We worked hard, studied hard, travelled hard and learned everywhere. There are a lot of things to write about those six months I spent in Japan, but I am ending it here by saying that it made me a teacher. It filled me with inspiration to teach Japanese in India. And I am working towards it.
